Dr. Ryan is Associate Professor of Political Theology at Regis St. Michael’s Faculty of Theology, where he has taught since 2020 following a research fellowship at Trinity College Dublin. He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Werner G. Jeanrond and Graham Ward. His research engages political theology, recognition, and accompaniment, with a focus on the role of religion in public life and institutions.
Published bi-annually by the University of Toronto Press, the “Toronto Journal of Theology” provides a Canadian forum for discussing theological issues in cross-cultural perspectives, featuring pertinent articles, indepth reviews and information on the latest publications in the field.
